We attended this weekend the film festival “Mostra Ameríndia” at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon.
of documentaries, films and short films about Brazilian indigenous, their past
and present culture.
A variety of themes were discussed, including concerns about climate change, from the view of indigenous people, their daily life and relation with the “non-indigenous” people. Also many other curiosities that brought many new perspectives of what is the reality of indigenous people in nowadays, their culture and language.
A film produced by a Brazilian and Portuguese couple that spend 5 years together with several indigenous tribes. Despite the slow-pace trailer, this film is an surprisingly involving story! We recommend you to watch this movie. Check more at imdb website.
